💚 Tea Tree essential oil is a natural choice for anti-allergy and building immunity.
I have been using steam inhalation over a bowl of boiling water with a few drops of Eucalyptus oil to clear the nose and sinuses and a few drops on my pillow at night. Also I have popping this super power oil in my roller ball with sweet almond oil on my feet with cotton socks on at night. The theory behind this is linked to the practice of reflexology. Reflexology is based on the application of pressure to different areas of your hands and feet to treat problems with certain corresponding parts of your body.
The area around the balls of your feet, especially the base of your three middle toes is said to have an impact upon your sinuses and so the practice of massaging eucalyptus oil onto your feet (especially those areas) seems to make sense if you follow the theory of reflexology.
Did you also know olbas oil is mainly peppermint and eucalyptus oil? And Vicks vapour rub eucalyptus?! The great part about blending yourself you know exactly what organic pure oils ingredients you are using and what works for you.

Do not drop neat essential oils neat into a bath of water.
- Topically: Mix a 15 drops with 5ml carrier oil (sweet almond recommended) in our rollerball and apply to wrists, chest or back of the neck. - Hand or foot bath: Add 2 drops to a bowl of water.
- Compress: Add 2 drops to a bowl of water. For treating inflammation or to cool down use cold to room temperature water. For aching tight muscles use warm to hot water. Agitate a face cloth in the water, wring out excess moisture and apply cloth to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.
- Steam Treatment: Add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water. Place your face close to the bowl and cover the back of your head and bowl with a towel to trap the aromatic vapours. Caution due to risk of burns or scalding and keep eyes covered during treatment.

Immunity boosting soup
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes, roughly chopped (1.6kg approx)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- finger of ginger
- 1.5 Tbs garam masala
- 2 tsps turmeric
- 2 Tbs ghee
- 1 cup spring onion, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander root and stem, washed and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup basmati rice
- 1 cups red lentils
- 2 tbs vegetable stock
- 1.5 litre water
- 1/2 coconut block
- 1 cup of plain unsweetened yoghurt (coconut yoghurt works a treat!)
- 2 tsps honey (optional, only if you feel the flavour balance of sweet, spicy and salty is off)
- Juice of 1 lime.
- Spring onion, yoghurt and coriander to serve
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Place the chopped potatoes, onion, ginger, whole garlic cloves (skin on) ghee in a pan. It’s fine for it to be a little crowded. Roast for 30 minutes. Remove and then add garlic the garam masala and the turmeric in the baking dish and toss well to combine. Remove after another 10 minutes.
Can now do the rest on the hob! add the lentils, rice cook, stir so all coated and the spices with the heat have managed to release their super power and then add the stock and water as well as the coconut block. Cook for 45 minutes.
Take off the heat and use a stick blender to puree until smooth. Cook for a further 10 minutes and then puree again with the stick blender while adding the yoghurt spoonful by spoonful. Add the lime juice and stir to combine. Taste to check seasoning.
Serve with crusty bread and a swirl of yoghurt and some finely sliced coriander and spring onion.
Enjoy!
Sending Healthy Wishes

Safety guide on oils
Pure plant power is powerful, if any concerns please read our safety guide
There are some family members and our pets that may need oils to be more diluted.
Babies and young children, pregnant and breast-feeding mothers, the frail and the elderly. Topical applications need to be at much lower dilutions, as low a 1% (1 drop in 10ml of carrier oil) and not all essential oils are recommended.
Please see our faq here and if you unsure always take advise from a clinical aromatherapist for best practise.
